Tax account queries can be customized according to period and statement detail using the following fields:
- “End of period": The tax account can be queried broken down by year, so when querying a given year, the end of the period is December 31 of that year. When entering a current or future date, the items for the open period will be displayed up to the date of the query or the specified date. It is worth initiating a query for a future date, for example, where a payment reduction scheme is applied for, so that the due dates for each instalment are displayed.
- “Tax type filter": The complete tax account can be retrieved, but the search can also be narrowed down by tax type.
- “Type of tax account“: You can choose how detailed the tax account data should be and what type of statement it should appear in.
Types to choose from:
- Itemized: (default setting), the most detailed tax account statement contains the detailed data of the tax account, such as the accounting title, due date, and debit date, in itemized order.
- Tax type balance: displays the total balance of each tax type and the tax account. The balance type query is not suitable for itemized examination. Accounting items can only be viewed in total by tax type, not individually.
- List: contains detailed information about the tax account, such as the basis for accounting for the item in question and the legal title under which it was recorded.
- "Reference number/Decision number": By entering the number of a specific document, only the items recorded with it can be queried.
- Checkbox for inclusion of cash flow items (payments and transfers) yet to be entered in the accounts: if selected, cash flow items (payments, transfers) yet to be recorded in the tax account by the NTCA will also be displayed.
