Anyone may submit a complaint to NTCA, but only regarding their own matters.
As a rule, the complaint must be handled within thirty days of the date on which it is received by the body entitled to take action.
If NTCA does not have the competence to handle your complaint, we will transfer your complaint to the competent authority within eight days of receipt, of which we will notify you simultaneously using one of the contact details provided.
If the investigation leading to a decision is expected to take longer than thirty days, you will be informed of this, the expected date of the decision and the reasons for the extension.
At the end of the investigation, you will be informed of the action taken or waived, stating the reasons therefor. Classified data or data that is considered a business, economic or other secret by law may not be disclosed.
NTCA may decide not to investigate the complaint
- if you make a repeat complaint with the same content as the previous one,
- if you do not identify yourself, unless the complaint is based on a serious violation of rights or interests.
- if you submitted your complaint more than six months after the events occurred.
If your complaint was lodged more than one year after the event, it will be rejected by NTCA without further investigation.
