Not everyone receives a tax account statement on the actual balance of his/her tax account from the NTCA. Those who have paid their taxes on time and in full amount have a settled tax account and therefore do not receive a tax account statement.
So, if someone receives it, it means they have to settle their tax account.
The tax account statement contains the balances for each tax account and tax type as of the last day of the period specified in the statement; for each tax type and tax category, it shows any outstanding amounts, refunds due, and overpayments.
The tax account statement details the data, helps you interpret it, and provides guidance on how to settle the items, so please read the information section carefully!
