After the order has been placed, the goods will be handed over by the merchant to the postal service provider, who will affix an identification number, the so-called tracking code, to the item. Customs authorities cannot search by postal tracking code, as only the Post has all the information needed to do so.

Through the website www.posta.hu, you may use the tracking system, where – in case of the fulfilment of certain conditions described there – you can query on the current status of your consignments on the basis of the tracking code.
